Term 3 2026 Sporting School Grant

Sporting Schools Term 3 Applications Now Open

Sporting Schools is an Australian Government initiative designed to help schools increase children’s participation in sport and connect them with community sporting opportunities.

As Australia’s largest school-based sports participation program, Sporting Schools has funded more than 9,300 schools since launching in 2015, creating over 20 million opportunities for students of all abilities to get active, engaged and have fun through sport.

Programs are provided to children at no cost to families and support students to build the confidence and capability to be active for life.

The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) has partnered with more than 45 national sporting organisations (NSOs) and national sporting organisations for people with disability (NSODs) to deliver inclusive sport-based programs across the country.
