City of Greater Bendigo Community Grants
The Community Grants Program is provided by the City of Greater Bendigo, with multiple streams available throughout the year.
Essential Grants.
- Up to $2,000
- To help community groups afford things that are essential for their safe and effective functioning
- Eg. First aid kit, Defib machine, volunteer training
- Apply at any time – grants are available until funds are expended.
Small Grants.
- Up to $2,000
- To support activities that contribute to the Greater Bendigo Council Plan 2021-2025, Healthy Greater Bendigo 2021-2025 or local community plans
- Eg. Events, training, activity costs
- Apply at any time – grants are available until funds are expended.
Medium Grants.
- Up to $10,000
- To support activities that contribute to the Greater Bendigo Council Plan 2021-2025, Healthy Greater Bendigo 2021-2025 or local community plans.
- Eg. Events, safety equipment, activity costs.
- Applications open twice per year, February and August.
Community Festive Season Meal Grants.
- Up to $2,000
- To support local community connections and inclusion at Christmas time
- Eg. Purchase of food, venue hire, event promotion and hampers
- Applications open in September every year.
