Celebrating Disability Pride Month and Strengthening Inclusive Community Sport

This Disability Pride Month, we celebrate the achievements, leadership, and contributions of people with disability across sport and active recreation. It is a time to recognise the importance of inclusion, visibility, and opportunity — and to continue building communities where everyone can participate, belong, and thrive.

Community sport plays a powerful role in bringing people together. When clubs and organisations embrace inclusion, they don’t just increase participation — they strengthen connection, pride, and wellbeing across their entire community.
