Aboriginal Sport Participation Grant Program Now Open

The Aboriginal Sport Participation Grant Program is now open, providing funding to support First Nations individuals, teams and communities across Victoria to participate in sport.

Grants are available to assist with participation in Aboriginal sporting carnivals, the purchase of uniforms and equipment, and travel and accommodation costs for athletes and coaches competing in regional, state and national pathway opportunities.

This program helps create greater access to sport, supports community connection, and encourages participation at all levels.

Applications are open from 1 June 2026 and close on 6 July 2026.
