The Victorian Government’s 2026–27 Local Sports Infrastructure Fund is now open, supporting new and upgraded community sporting facilities, sports lighting projects, and planning initiatives across Victoria.

The Fund aims to strengthen grassroots sport by creating more accessible, inclusive, and sustainable places for communities to participate, connect, and thrive.

While applications can only be submitted by Victorian local councils and Alpine Resorts Victoria, local sporting clubs and community organisations are encouraged to contact their council to discuss potential projects and partnership opportunities.

Applications close on 28 July 2026, with funding outcomes expected from October 2026.
