Community football clubs across Australia can now apply for funding through the Telstra Footy Grants program.
As part of an $8 million investment from the AFL and Telstra (2024–2028), eligible metro and regional clubs can apply for grants of up to $20,000 to help strengthen and grow local footy. With $4 million already supporting nearly 1,100 projects, a further $2 million will be available in 2026.
Community clubs are at the heart of the game, and this funding supports their important role in creating opportunities for participation, connection and wellbeing.

Whether it’s upgrading facilities, supporting volunteers, or starting new programs (like girls teams), the grants are designed to provide practical support where clubs need it most.
Round 3 is now open, with applications closing 24 May 2026.
